If you’ve ever wanted to help reshape the future of transportation and do it alongside people who are at the forefront, you’re in the right place. The Role We’re looking for a Territory Sales Manager in Sacramento. This isn’t a desk job. You’ll be boots-on-the-ground four days a week, meeting business owners, attending chamber events, walking job sites, and showing up where the deals live. You will generate your own leads and lose your own deals. You will also be expected to bring rigor to sales activity tracking using HubSpot, maintain a high-volume outbound motion, and understand the nuances of fleet leasing and EV infrastructure. What You’ll Be Doing Sales Execution (90%) Identify, engage, and close new fleet leasing agreements  Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → pitching → negotiating → closing Maintain strong activity metrics: cold outreach, follow-ups, appointments, and proposals Educate small businesses on the value of using an EV in their fleet: re-fueling savings, operational efficiencies, maintenance savings, charging network, safety, etc.  Sales Reporting (10%) Manage your deal-flow in HubSpot (our CRM) Ensure accuracy of data and smooth handoff to Account Management and/or Solutions Engineering  Community Activation Represent Mitra EV at local business events, chamber meetings, and networking opportunities Build relationships with trade associations, franchise networks, and commercial real estate groups Be a visible, trusted figure in the Sacramento small business ecosystem  What We’re Looking For 5+ years of direct B2B sales experience, preferably in fleet leasing, transportation, or clean tech in a startup environment  Preferred (but not required) industry experience: construction, disaster and restoration, home services, parcel / last mile delivery Tenacious individual that thrives in fast paced environments and able to adapt / pivot with changing environment (we are a start-up) Proven hunter: you know how to source and close your own deals without a big marketing machine Strong understanding of SMB decision-making dynamics Grit, resilience, and a bias toward action, we’re a startup; no one is too good to move the truck  Bonus Points If You Have Experience in sales at dealerships, FMC, or any EV leasing  Relationships with regional fleets or small business associations Background in field sales, construction services, or logistics  What We Offer Competitive base salary + aggressive commission structure Equity in a fast-growing startup Flexibility, autonomy, and a front-row seat to the EV revolution The chance to make real impact, fast  Ready to Get in the Arena?
