The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining enterprise security infrastructure to protect systems, networks, applications, and data from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in security operations, threat monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and infrastructure security across cloud and on-prem environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain enterprise security solutions and controlsMonitor security systems, alerts, logs, and incidents using SIEM and security toolsConduct vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and remediation activitiesManage firewall configurations, IDS/IPS, VPNs, endpoint security, and access controlsInvestigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents and security breachesImplement security policies, standards, and compliance best practicesSecure cloud infrastructure environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCPPerform security audits, patch management, and system hardening activitiesCollaborate with infrastructure, network, and application teams to improve security postureMaintain documentation related to security architecture, incidents, and proceduresStay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technologiesRequirements5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity / Security EngineeringStrong knowledge of network security, system security, and cloud securityHands-on experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint protectionExperience with vulnerability management and security assessment toolsKnowledge of security frameworks and compliance standardsExperience securing Windows/Linux environments and cloud platformsFamiliarity with identity and access management conceptsUnderstanding of incident response and threat detection methodologiesScripting or automation experience using PowerShell, Python, or Bash is a plusStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related fieldCertifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, CCSP, or equivalent are preferredAdditional DetailsOnsite role based in Daly City, CAAbility to work in a fast-paced and security-focused environmentImmediate joiners preferred
