Android Developer - Only W2

Job Title: Mobile Developer AndroidLocation: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week from Day 1)Employment Type: W2 ContractJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Developer with strong expertise in Android (Kotlin, Java) and exposure to iOS SDKs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building, optimizing, and maintaining native mobile applications at scale.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Java.Integrate with iOS SDKs and ensure cross-platform compatibility where required.Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless mobile experiences.Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.Debug and resolve issues to improve application performance and reliability.Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.Stay up to date with emerging trends in mobile development, especially Android and iOS frameworks.Required Skills & Qualifications5+ years of professional experience in native Android development.Strong proficiency in Kotlin (heavy usage) and Java.Experience with iOS Software Development Kits (SDKs) and cross-platform integration.Solid understanding of mobile application lifecycle, UI/UX standards, and app store deployment.Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations.Knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub/Bitbucket).Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Nice to HaveExperience in hybrid app development or cross-platform frameworks.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.Prior experience in large-scale enterprise applications (retail/e-commerce preferred).
