This role handles a mix of inbound and outbound sales activity, develops customer relationships, and supports the sales process from initial inquiry through service agreement completion.The Inside Sales Specialist II works independently within established guidelines, manages a personal sales pipeline, and collaborates closely with internal teams to ensure accurate documentation, timely handoff, and a positive customer experience.Why join WRM and affiliated companies?Comprehensive Benefits: Choose from one of three medical plans, based on your needs, dental, and vision coverage, along with 401(k) with 5% company matchCareer Growth: Training programs and advancement opportunities in wastewater operations and environmental servicesPaid Time Off: Generous PTO policy accrues from day 1, with floating and company-paid holidays.Additional Perks: Company-paid life and disability insurance, employee assistance program, and moreSupportive Leadership: Leadership that values safety, professionalism, and growthEssential FunctionsGenerate revenue through a combination of outbound sales activity and inbound customer inquiries.Conduct proactive outbound sales calls using CRM data, dashboards, and reporting tools.Receive and manage inbound inquiries from non-broker and non-franchise channels.Qualify sales opportunities and assess customer service and pricing needs.Manage assigned sales opportunities from initial contact through agreement completion.Prepare accurate pricing, proposals, and service recommendations.Create service agreements and related sales documentation for new and existing customers.Submit completed service agreements to Customer Experience Specialists for onboarding and account setup.Maintain ownership of the sales process through execution and internal handoff.Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support retention and repeat business.Identify renewal, upsell, and service expansion opportunities within assigned accounts.Maintain accurate and timely records in CRM systems, including activity, pipeline, and forecasts.Collaborate with Customer Experience, operations, dispatch, and billing teams to ensure service alignment.Apply sound judgment in prioritizing workload, recommending solutions, and escalating issues as needed.Meet or exceed individual sales, revenue, and activity performance expectations.Complete special projects or other duties as assigned.What You NeedHigh school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred2–4+ years of inside sales, B2B sales, or account management experienceProven ability to manage both outbound sales activity and inbound customer inquiriesExperience in qualifying sales opportunities and managing the sales process from initial contact through agreement completionDemonstrated experience preparing pricing, proposals, service agreements, or similar sales documentationComfortable working from CRM systems (preferably Hubspot or equivalent), dashboards, and sales reporting tools to manage pipeline and prioritiesStrong outbound sales, negotiation, and objection‑handling skillsAbility to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal stakeholdersHigh attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, complete service agreements and documentationStrong organizational, time‑management, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneouslyCustomer‑focused, solutions‑oriented mindsetAbility to work independently within established guidelines and processesProficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)Experience collaborating with Customer Experience, operations, billing, or cross‑functional teamsPrior experience in environmental services, industrial services, logistics, or field‑based service industries preferredSage 100 and MAS 90 experience a plus.Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and general accounting procedures.Excellent interpersonal skills.Equal Opportunity EmployerWRM is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
