The ideal candidate will have broad technical expertise across enterprise infrastructure domains and play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable systems. This role reports to the IT Manager and will focus on VMware virtualization, network storage, Citrix environments, Active Directory, Office 365, and both LAN and WAN networking.Essential FunctionsDesign, deploy, and manage enterprise-level infrastructure solutions to support business operations and growth.Manage VMware infrastructure, including provisioning, performance tuning, and resource optimization.Design and administer multi-tiered network storage solutions, including SAN (Storage Area Network) and NAS (Network Attached Storage).Administer and optimize Dell/EMC storage environments.Manage Citrix environments (Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC/NetScaler) to ensure high availability and performance.Maintain and optimize Active Directory and Office 365, including identity management, authentication, and security configurations.Develop and maintain LAN/WAN architecture, ensuring redundancy, scalability, and security.Implement and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.Contribute to the design and execution of Data-Centric Security Architectures.Collaborate with cybersecurity, compliance, and application teams to align infrastructure with business and security needs.Conduct capacity planning and performance analysis to maintain high service availability.Lead or support infrastructure-related projects, providing technical mentorship to junior engineers.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or systems administration in a complex enterprise environment.Proven expertise in:Data center infrastructure optimizationVMware Server VirtualizationDell/EMC storage administrationCitrix administration (Virtual Apps, Desktops, Citrix ADC/NetScaler)Dell server infrastructureData protection practices and strategiesWindows and Linux administrationActive Directory (GPOs, OU structure, Federation)Office 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)Network storage (SAN, NAS) including tiered storage solutionsLAN/WAN network design (routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers)Preferred QualificationsExpert-level certifications: MCSE, VMware VCP, Citrix CCE-V, or equivalent.Experience with hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS).Scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python).Experience with monitoring/management platforms (SolarWinds, WhatsUp Gold, Netwrix).Strong understanding of enterprise security principles and best practices.Experience with regulatory requirements and audits.Background in managing infrastructure for financial institutions.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends when required.This job description is only a summary of the typical functions of the job, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible responsibilities, tasks, and duties.
