Laboratory Assistant

Job Titles: Lab Assistant IILocation: Research Triangle Park, NCDuration: 6 monthsPayrate: $20/hr - $25/hr on W2 Job Summary: We are looking for a Lab Assistant II to support daily activities in a regulated laboratory environment. This role will assist with sample handling, laboratory documentation, inventory management, and compliance-related activities while following CLIA and laboratory procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport daily laboratory operations in a compliance-driven environmentHandle, organize, and track laboratory samples and materialsMaintain accurate records using LIMS systems (LabVantage preferred)Assist with inventory management and movement of laboratory suppliesFollow CLIA, SOPs, and laboratory safety proceduresUse Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reportingLift and move laboratory materials up to 25–30 pounds as neededRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year of laboratory experienceORHigh School Diploma with 3+ years of laboratory experienceExperience working in a regulated or compliance laboratory environmentExperience with LIMS systems is requiredLabVantage experience preferredBasic Microsoft Office skills requiredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsPreferred Experience:CLIA laboratory experience preferredExperience supporting GMP, GLP, or other regulated lab environments is a plus
