Production Trainer
Production TrainerUnder general supervision, this role is responsible for delivering on-the-job, skills-based, and classroom training within assembly and production environments. The position supports the development and implementation of training programs, ensures proper documentation of training progress and certifications, and may assist in introducing new manufacturing processes. This role requires strong technical assembly knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively train and guide employees in a regulated manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver hands-on, skills-based, and classroom training in assembly and production areasSupport the development and implementation of new training programs and materialsMaintain training records, including rosters, progress tracking, testing, and certificationsMonitor trainee performance and provide feedback to support developmentApply established work methods to routine manufacturing scenariosAssist in introducing new processes, workflows, and production sequencesEnsure training compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirementsCommunicate effectively with trainees, supervisors, and cross-functional teamsSupport multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlinesRotate across workstations and assist as needed within assigned production areasRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required (Associate's degree preferred)Hands-on experience in assembly of digital and analog circuitry/devicesDemonstrated ability to lead, train, or provide direction to team membersStrong knowledge of product assembly techniques and manufacturing processesExperience using standard hand tools for bio-instruments or bio-device assemblyStrong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordinationHigh attention to detail and accuracyTechnical & Functional SkillsAbility to maintain training documentation and certification recordsStrong understanding of manufacturing workflows and production environmentsFamiliarity with standard manufacturing and office equipmentBasic math, reading comprehension, and organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to provide constructive feedback to trainees and employees at all levelsRegulatory & Compliance RequirementsUnderstanding of and ability to comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulationsAdherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standardsAbility to pass a reading comprehension pre-employment assessmentWork Environment & Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 25 lbs occasionallyAbility to work overtime as neededRegular and predictable attendance requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and matrixed environmentComfortable working both independently and collaborativelyAbility to adapt to changing priorities and support multiple tasks/projectsPreferred QualificationsAssociate's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Technology (or related field)Experience in the manufacturing of implantable medical devices or similar regulated productsExperience working in highly regulated environments (e.g., medical device, biotech, or pharmaceutical manufacturing)Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
