CNC Programmer
Meyer Utility Structures is searching for a CNC Programmer at our Clinton, IL plant. The CNC programmer will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC machine programs to generate high-quality parts in accordance with technical specifications. This role requires working closely with engineers, machinists, and the production team to guarantee the competence and accuracy of manufacturing processes.Meyer Utility Structures is a proud subsidiary of the infrastructure company, Arcosa, Inc. Meyer Utility Structures is an industry leader in the engineering design and fabrication of concrete, and tubular steel structures for transmission, distribution, and substation applications.What You'll Do:Develop, write, and edit CNC programs using CAD/CAM software-based engineering drawings, blueprints, and specificationsAnalyze and interpret technical designs to create efficient and accurate machining pathsOptimize CNC programs to minimize cycle times and material waste while maintaining quality standardsProvide troubleshooting support for machine setups and programsTest and validate programs by running simulations and adjusting as necessaryEnsure all programs meet dimensional and tolerance requirements using precision measurement instrumentsIdentify potential manufacturing issues and recommend solutions to improve quality and efficiencyClosely work with the production and engineering team to ensure seamless integration of programs into the manufacturing processSuggest process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costsOther duties as assignedWhat You'll Need:High school diploma2 years plus of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environmentProficiency with CAD/CAM softwareStrong knowledge of G-code, M-code, and machining principlesAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsIn-depth understanding of machining processes, materials, and toolingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsCompensation and Benefits:Meyer Utility Structures is proud to offer competitive benefits and programs to help you and your family meet your healthcare and retirement planning needs.
