Ice Rink Maintenance Tech

The Ice Rink Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily operations and upkeep of the Sun Valley Resort Ice Rink. This role includes maintaining ice surfaces, operating the refrigeration system, performing general cleaning, setting up ice shows, and driving ice resurfacers. No prior experience is required-Sun Valley Resort will provide training for the right candidate. Duties & Responsibilities:Operate ice resurfacing equipment to maintain high-quality ice surfacesPerform routine maintenance on ice rink equipment and facilitiesSharpen ice skates as neededMonitor and operate the ice rink refrigeration systemPerform daily cleaning and upkeep of the rink areaAssist with ice show setup and operationsComplete additional duties as assignedQualifications:Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionAvailability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as requiredBe able to stand for prolonged periodsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, use hands, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hearMust safely move objects up to approximately 45 pounds about the workplaceMust possess a valid driver's licenseEqual Opportunity Employer
