Maintenance Project EngineerFull-Time, PermanentLocation: Pleasant Gap, PAGraymont (PA) is seeking a well-organized, highly motivated individual to fill the position of Maintenance Project Engineer. This individual will lead numerous technical items within our state-of-the-art limestone and lime processing facility including, but not limited to, managing capital projects, maintenance projects, outage planning, equipment refurbishments, and continuous improvement initiatives.The keys to success will be a strong focus on safety, open/honest communication, teamwork, foresight, planning ability, and continuous improvement in all aspects of both personal performance and plant operation.ResponsibilitiesExecute assigned projects both on time and on budgetWork with plant operations and maintenance departments to plan and schedule kiln shutdownsWork with plant operations to transition projects into their control post commissioningUtilize Graymont internal Document Management SystemEnsure projects are designed to follow Graymont basic design standardsCoordination with Graymont functional leads (Project Engineering, Engineering Support, Process Engineering, Maintenance Support, HSE)Effective hand-over of projects to Reliability Engineer so a successful reliability centered maintenance analysis can be completed.Identify potential efficiency improvements and cost saving opportunitiesFrequent communication with front line employees to embed continuous improvement cultureParticipate in on-call rotation with plant management teamIdentify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, performance, and efficiencyProgress and manage multiple tasks/projects at any given timeQualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related technical degree (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).Relevant Experience: Demonstrated experience managing projects from concept to completion, including budgeting, documentation, and coordination of support resources. Previous roles should reflect a strong commitment to health and safety standards, contractor management, maintenance processes, and outage planningAdditional Assets: MSHA certification and prior MSHA experience are considered an asset.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
