The position focuses on leveraging email security platforms to detect, investigate, and respond to email-based threats including phishing, business email compromise (BEC), malware delivery, and account takeover attacks targeting the company. Experience with Abnormal Email Security is a plus.Job Duties & Responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain email security detection rules, policies, and response workflows to identify and remediate email-based threats• Integrate email security platforms with existing security tools including SIEM, SOAR, threat intelligence platforms, and ticketing systems• Analyze email-based attack patterns to identify emerging threats and develop detection strategies that reduce risk and response times• Collaborate with SOC analysts and incident response teams to investigate and remediate phishing, BEC, spoofing, and malware campaigns• Build and maintain custom detection logic, allow/block lists, and email authentication configurations (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)• Monitor and optimize email security platform performance, ensuring reliability and effectiveness of detection and response capabilities• Participate in incident response activities involving email-based threats, supporting forensic analysis and containment efforts• Develop documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures for email security platform usage and maintenance• Stay current with email threat trends, platform updates, and emerging attack techniques targeting enterprise email environments• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
