People & Places (HR) Manager

What You'll Bring to the Table:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, with previous HR management experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated experience working strategically with executive/senior leadership
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and delegate when appropriate
A commitment to acting with integrity, professionalism, and maintaining confidentiality
What You'll Do:
Collaborate closely with executive/senior leadership and our PEO to address complex, specialized, and sensitive HR issues, while also managing routine tasks in delicate circumstances
Serve as a strategic partner to people leaders, assisting with performance management, performance reviews, and employee relations matters to ensure alignment with company goals
Oversee and administer key HR functions, including benefit selection, open enrollment, 401(k) plan administration, payroll, leave administration, onboarding and offboarding new hires, delivering new hire orientation, and ensuring compliance with SOC2 and 5500 audits
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and concerns
Assist with office administrative tasks, including ordering snacks and drinks, and managing light office duties
Manage the hiring process by posting positions, overseeing the applicant tracking system, and working with managers to ensure a smooth hiring experience, including creating offer letters and coordinating onboarding with internal and external stakeholders
Plan and execute company events, such as monthly company meetings, lunch & learns, and company parties
Coordinate the offboarding process for departing employees to ensure a seamless transition
Act as a liaison between employees and the property management company for facilities requests and access needs
You Get Bonus Points With:
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Direct experience in leading an HR department, including strategic planning and all operations
An HR Certification (SHRM, PHR, etc.)
