Temporary Litigation Paralegal

A professional services firm is looking to bring on a talented Litigation Paralegal for a six-month remote contract. This is a high-visibility opportunity to step into a meaningful role, managing litigation matters, navigating regulatory requirements, and helping shape more efficient legal processes alongside a collaborative team. Detail-oriented paralegals who enjoy varied, substantive work will find a lot to sink their teeth into here.Key Responsibilities:Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution, including file setup, legal notifications, deadline tracking, and discovery support.Review contracts for compliance and flag potential risk areas before they escalate.Act as a key point of contact for external parties on litigation and regulatory issues.Handle legal correspondence, service of process, and regulatory submissions with a high degree of accuracy.Keep litigation databases current, organized, and audit-ready at all times.Work cross-functionally to address document requests, internal audits, and ad hoc inquiries.Spot opportunities to streamline legal processes and take ownership of implementing improvements.Manage discrete legal projects and initiatives, knowing when to act independently and when to escalate.Why You’ll Love Working Here:A leadership team that values and supports the people around them.The convenience and flexibility of a fully remote engagement.This is a temporary opportunity for about six months. What We’re Looking For:Solid litigation background. At least two years of paralegal experience handling litigation matters, contract review, and regulatory or high-risk complaints.Sharp attention to detail.
