Current Position(s)Concrete Production Operations Manager - East TexasPosition SummaryThe Concrete Production Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple concrete production facilities. This role ensures optimal plant performance, profitability, safety compliance, and workforce development. The manager will lead operational strategy, maintenance programs, inventory planning, and personnel management to achieve business objectives and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & EfficiencyOversee day-to-day operations of multiple concrete plants to ensure consistent production, quality, and delivery performanceMonitor and improve plant efficiency, throughput, and cost control measuresImplement best practices and standard operating procedures across all locationsAnalyze production data and KPIs to identify opportunities for operational improvementsMaintenance OversightDirect and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all plant equipment and fleet assetsEnsure minimal downtime through proactive planning and rapid response to equipment failuresCollaborate with maintenance teams to optimize equipment lifecycle and capital expendituresProfit MaximizationDevelop and manage regional operating budgets, including cost control and expense reduction strategiesIdentify opportunities to improve margins through process improvements, pricing alignment, and waste reductionPartner with senior leadership on financial forecasting and performance analysisPersonnel ManagementLead, supervise, and support plant managers, supervisors, and operational staffConduct performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions as neededFoster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvementTraining & DevelopmentDevelop and implement training programs for plant personnel, including safety, operational procedures, and leadership developmentEnsure all employees are properly trained and compliant with company and regulatory standardsIdentify skill gaps and succession planning opportunitiesAggregate Inventory & ForecastingOversee aggregate inventory levels across all plants to ensure uninterrupted productionDevelop and maintain accurate forecasting models for raw materials based on demand and seasonal trendsCoordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiencySafety & ComplianceEnsure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulationsPromote and enforce a strong safety culture across all facilitiesConduct regular site inspections and auditsMinimum Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete, aggregates, or related heavy industrial operationsStrong knowledge of concrete plant operations, equipment, and maintenance practicesDemonstrated experience in budgeting, cost control, and profit and loss managementProven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop teamsKey Competencies:Leadership and team developmentStrategic thinking and problem-solvingFinancial acumenOperational efficiency and process improvementCommunication and interpersonal skillsSafety leadership and risk managementPosition Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position.
