Support Specialist
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional care and support to individual with developmental disabilities both in their homes and the communities.
Duties
- Provide personalized care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in home health environments
-Provide light homemaking activities
- Support the individual in living successfully both in their home and community
- Assist in transporting individual to different events and appointments
- Assist with individual's activities of daily living
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for our individuals
- Assist individuals to engage and integrate within their communities.
Requirements
- Experience in developmental disability care, home care, home health, or related fields is preferred
- Current certification in medication-delegation is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
- Knowledge of safe caregiving techniques and providing social support to these individuals
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Experience:
Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:

Medication Delegation Certificate (Preferred)
