The individual will assist customers with product inquiries, generate orders, and coordinate fulfillment activities. Responsibilities also include preparing outbound shipments, receiving incoming materials, and supporting rental equipment logistics, including returns and condition inspections.Key ResponsibilitiesInteract with customers professionally, both face-to-face and over the phone, to identify needs and provide solutionsProcess sales and rental transactions based on customer requirementsPrepare order documentation such as pick tickets, packing lists, and bills of ladingPull inventory and stage materials for shipment or customer pickupPackage and label outgoing shipments to ensure accurate and timely deliveryReceive inbound shipments, verify contents, and stock materials appropriatelyInspect rental equipment upon check-out and return, documenting condition and noting any discrepanciesCommunicate equipment repair needs in coordination with technical staffMaintain accurate records of rental agreements and equipment statusSupport inventory control efforts, including cycle counts and material transfers between locationsHandle incoming calls by routing or responding as appropriateAssist with purchase order preparation and confirmations for internal teamsProcess payments, including cash and credit transactions, in accordance with company proceduresMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all safety guidelines and ensure proper use of protective equipmentPerform additional duties as required to support branch operationsQualificationsFamiliarity with oilfield equipment, industrial tools, or similar products preferredProficiency with Microsoft 365 applications or similar business systemsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentExperience operating material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.), or willingness to become certified within the first 30 daysAbility to safely handle financial transactions and maintain accuracyValid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferredWork EnvironmentCombination of office, warehouse, and outdoor yard settingsRoutine exposure to changing environmental conditions, including weather and temperature variationsOccasional exposure to noise, dust, and fumes typical of an industrial settingRegular interaction with moving equipment and vehiclesFast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and shifting prioritiesScheduleTypical hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PMFlexibility required to work additional hours based on operational needsRotating on-call schedule (approximately one week per month)RequirementsMust be able to pass a background check and drug screening in accordance with company policyDriving responsibilities may require meeting motor vehicle record standardsPosition may fall under regulated drug testing requirements depending on job dutiesEducation & ExperienceMinimum of 1 year of experience in a retail, counter sales, or customer-facing environment requiredPhysical DemandsAbility to lift, push, or pull up to 50 poundsFrequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reachingCapability to navigate uneven terrain in outdoor environmentsAbility to perform repetitive movements and work extended periods on feetComfortable working with computers and performing data entryAbility to operate a vehicle as required for job dutiesAdditional InformationThis description is intended to outline the general responsibilities and expectations of the role.
