AtWork Personnel is seeking Cafeteria Food Service Workers for a local facility in Flower Mound, TX. 630am-2pmMonday-Friday$15 per hour Weekly Pay The Cafeteria Food Service Worker is responsible for assisting in the preparation, serving, and clean-up of meals in a school cafeteria environment. This role helps ensure students receive nutritious meals while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and customer service. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with food preparation including washing, cutting, and assembling food items.Serve meals to students and staff in a courteous and efficient manner.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, serving areas, and dining spaces.Follow food safety and handling procedures in accordance with health department guidelines.Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, warmers, dishwashers, and food prep tools safely.Stock food stations, utensils, condiments, and supplies before meal service.Wash dishes, trays, cookware, and kitchen equipment after service.Monitor portion sizes and ensure meals meet school nutrition guidelines.Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries properly.QualificationsMust be able to read and write English. Must be able to follow recipes. Previous food service, cafeteria, or kitchen experience required.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Ability to pass required background checks for working in a school setting.
