CPG: Accounting Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $50.00 to $57.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities:Supervise a team of Staff and Senior Accountants to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.Oversee the accounts receivable/payable close, month-end close, audit requests, and reconciliations.Prepare mid-month and month-end reports along with various ad-hoc accounting schedules and analyses.Manage the accounting integration and consolidation processes, including systems, policies, and internal controls.Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit inquiries.Requirements:3+ years of experience in accounting management, and 2+ years of team supervision.Utilize NetSuite for accounting operations and reporting; Salesforce experience is preferred.Apply knowledge of deferred revenue and deferred cost accounting, especially in compliance with ASC 606.Perform month-end close and audit preparation tasks with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.Showcase strong analytical skills and attention to detail in all financial processes and reconciliations.Qualifications:Hold a BA/BS degree in Accounting; CPA certification or progress towards it.Exhibit advanced Excel skills, including functions beyond VLOOKUPs and PivotTables.Communicate effectively with strong verbal and written skills in a collaborative team environment.Understand US GAAP accounting and reporting requirements thoroughly.Prefer experience in SaaS, manufacturing, or IoT industries with familiarity in inventory and software development accounting.REF #50757 #LI-DD1
