Position: Business Development Manager (1099 Contracted Position with Potential Transition to W2 Employee)
We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team. This role will begin as a 1099 contracted position, with the potential to transition into a W2 employee based on performance. Our compensation plan is highly aggressive, designed to reward top performers. All approved travel and meal expenses will be reimbursed.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in ultrasound medical equipment sales, with a focus on the eyecare or neurology industries. The Business Development Manager will drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and implementing strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to expand the company’s customer base.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Lead negotiations and close agreements with clients.
- Utilize CRM software, such as HubSpot, to track sales activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Develop and deliver presentations to potential clients.
- Work from your home office.
Qualifications:
- Experience in ultrasound medical equipment sales, preferably within the eyecare or neurology industries.
- Previous experience in capital equipment sales is preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of the sales process and ethical business practices.
- Proven experience in business development and sales.
- Strong understanding of software products and services.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Proficiency in strategic planning and execution.
- Ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM software, with a preference for HubSpot.
- Must reside within one hour of a major U.S. airport.
Compensation:
COMMISSION ONLY:
Compensation for this position includes eligibility for Sales Commissions, with an expected annualized earnings of $125,000.
Compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, training, certifications, education, work location, and other relevant factors, without regard to sex or other protected statuses under local, state, or federal law. Our recruiter will provide further details during the hiring process.
