Senior Business Affairs ManagerThe Senior Business Affairs Manager supports creative development and integrated productions, including broadcast, print, social, and digital projects. This person is a teammate with a creative mind and an ability to work efficiently. In addition, they have an extensive understanding of SAG, negotiations, contracts, including the production process from conception, bidding, to final delivery, and beyond. They oversee usage rights including talent, music, and intellectual property.Location & CommitmentsFull-time role, currently hybrid statusIn-person/in-office minimum of 3 days per weekResponsibilitiesBusiness Affairs "BA" Lead for client, Pfizer's, day to day work.Partner with cross-agency teams to review creative materials at all stages.Advise on talent, third-party rights, copyright, trademark and other advertising regulations.Review vendor agreements to ensure alignment with Client's Scope of Work/SOWs and Master Service Agreements/MSAsTrack third party rights and clearancesNegotiate, structure, and draft celebrity talent, creator, music, and intellectual property dealsPartner with agency legal on contracts, releases, and risk assessmentAdvise on production guidelines, standard methodologies, and client brand guidelinesPartner with production, project management account management, and finance to track and manage production jobsPartner with producers to review and advise on AICP and other bidding documentsPartner with production and account management to create client estimates for client signatureActualize all jobsCreate and issue award documents including vendor, insurance, music, talent, and stock agreementsManage Purchase Orders and invoicesManage account transition documentation (e.g., SAG Transfer of Rights)Integrate AI-driven tools into creative and production processes to boost efficiencyEducate on the SAG-AFTRA and AFM (music) agreementsAdvise agency teams and client on non-union best practices, employment guidelines, and other considerationsEstimate talent session and usage fees, and all other talent and music related costsManage talent contracts, session reports, final casts, and usage payments, renegotiations in compliance with the union (SAG, AFM)Draft and negotiate third-party agreements, including music, footage and imagesMentors/trains new staffOversees the daily workflow of the teamProvides performance evaluations / if applicableQualifications5 8 years' experience in advertising business affairsMust have extensive SAG experienceExperience with contract negotiationsStrong oral and written communication skillsProfessional interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneouslyAdditional InformationOur Publicis Groupe motto "Viva La Diffrence" means we're better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
