Continuous Diagnostic and Mitigation (CDM) Technical Lead / SME
Job Summary: Our client is seeking a Continuous Diagnostic and Mitigation (CDM) Technical Lead / SME to join their team! This position is located in Bethesda, Maryland. Duties:Serve as the technical lead for the implementation, configuration, and integration of CDM APL toolsManage and optimize data flows between sensors, agents, and the CDM dashboard using Elastic Stack componentsSupport the development and tuning of data pipelines for asset and vulnerability data aggregationCollaborate with security engineers and federal stakeholders to ensure compliance with CDM and DHS cybersecurity requirementsProvide subject matter expertise on hardware/software asset management and vulnerability management processesConduct technical assessments and develop documentation to support tool deployment and data accuracyTroubleshoot complex issues related to data ingestion, normalization, and visualization within the CDM ecosystemStay current with DHS CDM program updates, emerging cybersecurity tools, and data analytics technologiesDesired Skills/Experience:5+ years of hands-on experience with CDM APL tools: HWAM, SWAM, VUL categoriesProficiency with Elastic Stack: Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana and CDM dashboardsStrong knowledge of network security, data integration, and federal cybersecurity compliance frameworksExperience working in federal government environments or similar regulated industriesAbility to lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers or analystsExcellent communication and documentation skillsRelevant certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, Elastic Certified Engineer preferredBenefits:Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance PlansEmployee-Owned Profit Sharing (ESOP)401K offeredThe approximate pay range for this position is between $80.00 and $115.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
