Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a PE/DE in BGP, located in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as Bangalore/Chennai/Delhi NCR in India, with it’s HQ in San Jose. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining BGP protocol (and routing as a whole) , ensuring optimum performance and scalability. Responsibilities include system and module level routing protocol software design & delivery, conducting protocol & solution level debugging, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the overall architecture, design, development & test. Qualifications Proficiency in designing, developing and delivering BGP protocol softwareExperience in protocol & solution level debugging at scale, in live production networksStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsExcellent written and verbal communication requiredStrong experience of 15+ years in the networking/routing industry is required, for these IC Leadership roles.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
