Material Coordinator II

Job Title: Material Coordinator II Location: Hayward, CA (100% On-Site) Pay Rate: $24.75/hour (W2) Duration: 3–4 Month ContractSummary We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Coordinator II to join our team in Hayward for a focused 3–4 month contract. You will play a vital role in managing finished goods inventory, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring seamless warehouse operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Position Details Inventory Movement: Transfer finished goods from Manufacturing and Receiving to warehouse locations for order fulfillment.Quality Control: Monitor and segregate "on hold" finished goods daily.Offsite Logistics: Facilitate transfers to/from offsite storage by generating ERP reports.Auditing & Accuracy: Perform cycle counts, reconcile variances via SFDC reports/customer inquiries, and conduct random location audits.Tracking: Monitor inventory in temporary transit locations to ensure all transfers are completed accurately.Shipping & Fulfillment: Support picking, packing, and shipping using scanners; process orders via ERP, UPS Worldship, and FedEx Ship Manager.Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Planning, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve inventory issues. RequirementsExperience: 3–5 years in materials or logistics, ideally within a Life Sciences manufacturing environment handling temperature-sensitive products.Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with GMP and ISO regulated environments.Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access) and ERP systems (SAP preferred). Experience with UPS/FedEx shipping software is a plus.Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs to a height of 36 inches.Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to prepare/deliver presentations and lead effectively.Problem Solving: High level of mathematical accuracy, detail orientation, and the ability to resolve minor inventory problems independently.
