Machine Operator, Polisher 2nd Shift

Hyperion Solutions is currently seeking an Operator for our Elevator Equipment Corporation location, in Richmond, IN. Hyperion is constantly looking for talented, self-motivated, skilled team members to join our team. Reporting to the Area Supervisor, this position plays an integral part on the team by assisting in our goal to build high quality elevator components. Primary Responsibilities: Adhere to assigned production schedule Read and interpret blueprints and tape measures frequently in order to assemble product Move material using push carts to stage work Use of various hand tools Set up and operate machine in a safe manner Operate overhead style crane Maintain, organize, and clean equipment and work area Notify supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment Perform other related duties as assigned Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred Must be able to read a tape measure Ability to read O.D. and I.D. mics preferred Requires exercising good judgment Requires attention to detail Ability to safely use and lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for up to 8 hours per day Welding experience preferred Benefits At Hyperion Solutions, Inc. we understand that our employees are our most valuable asset.
