Facilities Assistant (Contract) Location: Downtown Houston Schedule: 100% In-Office: 8am5pm Duration: Contract for 1-year (strong potential for extension based on performance) Responsibilities: Provide general office and facilities support, including coordinating maintenance requests and working with internal teams and external vendors Receive, track, and follow up on work orders to ensure timely resolution of office-related issues Support vendor coordination and assist with access and logistics as needed Maintain overall office appearance, ensuring common areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked Partner with internal teams to address repairs, maintenance needs, and office improvements Assist with office moves, setup, and general space planning Support inventory tracking and organization of office supplies and storage areas Maintain and update internal records and databases related to office assets and materials Qualifications: Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and take initiative Customer-service oriented mindset Reliable, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
