Inventory Control Coordinator

Job Title: Inventory Control Coordinator
Position Responsibilities:
Tag and paint material after it is unloaded.
Investigate any discrepancies with incoming material.
Process MRA’s in a timely manner.
Investigate inventory discrepancies.
Research and Investigate orders / material that are either past due, missed on a load, or misplaced.
Assist with sales questions as needed.
Assist with shop errors, looking into who may be responsible, and making any inventory adjustments as needed.
Learn how to receive incoming material and billing process to help cover vacations and call-ins.
Basics of putting together fabrication orders for the shop to cover vacations and call-ins.
Operate a scissor lift as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications
Must have at least 1-2 years inventory experience.
Steel Industry experience preferred but not required (Please BOLD the steel experience on your resume).
Customer focus and relationship building abilities.
Self starter and motivated to learn this business.
Strong analytical & time management skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel with the ability to learn new software programs in a timely manner.
Detail oriented with accurate data entry skills.
Mathematical skills to calculate profit percentages, margins, totals, inventory levels etc.
A professional, helpful demeanor both on the phone and in person.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Strong written and oral communication skills, a positive attitude, and solid organizational skills are essential.
Able to work effectively in a team environment.
