Job Title:Patient Access Liaison IILocation: Alhambra, CA 91803 Pay Rate: $21.99/hrDuration: 13 weeks (Contract-to-Hire, possible extension)Schedule: 7 AM – 7 PM (weekends + OT required)Position Summary:Acts as the primary contact for patient access, handling high-volume scheduling, call center operations, patient registration, and insurance verification within a healthcare environment.Key Responsibilities:Handle inbound/outbound calls and web-based communications in a call centerSchedule and confirm patient appointments (initial & follow-ups)Perform patient registration and insurance verificationRespond to inquiries and route to appropriate medical staffMaintain accurate data entry and system updatesCommunicate with providers via phone, email, and messaging systemsRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma2+ years of TRUE call center experience (must be hands-on)Experience in healthcare + customer service environmentStrong communication, multitasking, and interpersonal skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in specialties: Endocrinology, GI/Liver, Infectious Disease, Nephrology, Pulmonary, RheumatologyExperience with appointment scheduling, registration, insurance verification, or medical assistant dutiesAssociate/Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or related fieldAdditional Notes:Must be adaptable and quick learner (learning curve role)Mandatory pre-employment onboarding compliance required
