We have partnered with a premier outpatient facility to find a clinician dedicated to high-quality, one-on-one patient care. In this role, you will work alongside a supportive team of full-time therapists to provide specialized orthopedic rehabilitation in a setting that truly values patient outcomes and clinician autonomy.Job DescriptionAs a Travel Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating a diverse adult population (ages 12+), focusing largely on post-operative hip, knee, back, and ankle recovery. This position offers a unique clinical environment with generous appointment blocksproviding 75 minutes for initial evaluations and 45 minutes for follow-up sessionsensuring you have the time necessary to deliver exceptional 1:1 care.Key Responsibilities > Evaluate and treat patients, establishing individualized plans of care based on evaluation results and functional goals. > Appropriately interface with patient's MD regarding care and progress; refer to appropriate providers as required. > Counsel and educate patients with respect to injury, illnesses, treatments, procedures, and wellness issues. > Plan for and complete patient discharge planning, including home program design and equipment ordering. > Complete all required documentation and accurate, compliant billing using EPIC EMR. > Maintain a clean and orderly working environment and prepare necessary requisitions for rehab supplies. > Oversee students and interns and participate in the training of new personnel when appropriate. > Utilize advanced equipment including NMES, Smart Cuffs Pro, Graston tools, and GameReady systems.
