Commercial HVAC Service Manager (Boilers and Hydronics) - HVAC/Plumbing - Base Salary to 140k/year - Gypsum, COOur client, a well-established HVAC and plumbing service provider with over 25 years of experience, is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Manager to lead and develop a team of 8+ technicians and plumbers. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with deep expertise in commercial boiler systems, hydronics, and HVAC service operations , along with proven experience managing service department performance.This position will oversee day-to-day service operations, technician productivity, and financial performance, while partnering closely with dispatch, customer service, and leadership teams. While primarily office-based, this individual will provide occasional field support to troubleshoot complex systems and support technicians.Responsibilities:Lead, manage, and develop a team of 8+ HVAC technicians and plumbers supporting residential and commercial service work, with a strong emphasis on commercial systemsOversee daily service operations including scheduling, dispatch coordination, and technician productivityManage and be accountable for a $5M+ service department P&L , including revenue, cost control, and profitabilityProvide technical guidance and troubleshooting support on commercial HVAC systems, boilers, and hydronic systemsConduct ride-alongs, hands-on training, and regular team meetings to drive performance, safety, and customer satisfactionPartner with dispatch and CSRs to ensure efficient job scheduling and high service levelsRecruit, interview, hire, and onboard technicians to support growth and maintain team performanceQualifications:8+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC and/or plumbing service4+ years of experience managing service technicians or field teamsProven experience managing a service department P&L of $5M or moreStrong expertise in commercial boiler systems and hydronics (e.g., Cleaver-Brooks, Lochinvar)Experience working with low-voltage controls and system diagnosticsStrong technical knowledge of HVAC service, troubleshooting, installation, and maintenanceCompensation:Base salary in the 120k – 140k/year range, plus performance-based bonus.Comprehensive benefits package including 100% employer-paid health insurance for employees and families, 401k with 3.5% match, generous PTO, and parental leave.Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.#INDALL
