This person will help create a welcoming office environment while also acting as an effective gatekeeper, handling day-to-day administrative support, light accounting-related admin tasks, and occasional administrative support for company leadership (e.g., scheduling, errands). The right candidate is polished, detail-oriented, and able to balance warmth with professionalism and boundaries.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist all visitors in a cheerful, professional mannerAnswer and route incoming phone callsMaintain a polished, welcoming, and fully stocked front officeSupport owners with administrative and light personal assistant tasks, including errands and scheduling supportAssist the Controller with mail handling, invoice scanning, filing, and check preparationSupport office teams with general administrative tasks as neededRun local errands such as shipping, returns, and office supply pickupHelp manage interruptions and walk-ins professionally while protecting team timeSupport additional administrative tasks as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred1 to 5 years of relevant front desk, receptionist, administrative, or executive assistant experienceValid driver's license requiredStrong customer service and communication skillsProfessional, courteous, and friendly demeanorAccuracy and strong attention to detailGood judgment, time management, and follow-throughAble to work independently with minimal supervisionFunctional computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook; QuickBooks is a plusComfortable handling confidential information and setting respectful boundaries with visitorsPay And BenefitsFull-time, W-2 employment Pay: $20 to $25 per hour, based on experience15 days PTO8 paid holidaysICHRA Health Insurance BenefitSimple IRA Retirement BenefitTenure-based December bonusWhy Joyner HomesJoyner Homes offers the chance to be part of a close-knit, high-performing team that values initiative, family balance, and doing things the right way.
