Nonprofit Executive Assistant (Part-Time)

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Part-Time Nonprofit Executive Assistant for a mission-driven nonprofit organization advancing professional equity and corporate responsibility. This is an onsite, part-time temporary opportunity based in Washington.POSITION OVERVIEW:This Part-Time Nonprofit Executive Assistant role is a highly visible, hands-on position supporting executive leadership and day-to-day office operations within a collaborative nonprofit environment. This individual will serve as a trusted administrative partner to senior leadership while helping ensure smooth organizational operations, communication flow, and office coordination. The ideal candidate is proactive, polished, highly organized, and comfortable balancing executive support with general operational and administrative responsibilities.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrative professional who enjoys mission-driven work, thrives in fast-paced environments, and values being a dependable, solutions-oriented team member.PERKS:Part-time schedule offering strong work-life balance with consistent weekday hours (25 hours/week) Monday-Friday schedule, approximately 9:00 AM-2:00 PM or 10:00 AM-3:00 PM Opportunity to work closely with executive leadership within a respected nonprofit organization Collaborative, mission-driven culture with meaningful work and strong team engagement Exposure to nonprofit operations, executive administration, and organizational leadership Inclusive workplace culture that values professionalism, collaboration, and diverse perspectives RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide high-level administrative support to executive leadership, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and scheduling Coordinate travel arrangements, expense reporting, and executive logistics Serve as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders Support office operations including supplies, mail distribution, vendor coordination, and overall office organization Assist with preparing documents, presentations, reports, and meeting materials Maintain organized filing systems and support document management processes Assist with light operational and administrative projects as needed Help ensure smooth day-to-day workflow across the organization QUALIFICATIONS:Prior experience supporting executive leadership, ideally within a nonprofit, mission-driven, or professional services environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a polished and professional presence Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through Ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining adaptable and proactive Comfortable learning and utilizing technology and office systems quickly; Salesforce experience is a plus Strong discretion, professionalism, and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially Reliable, collaborative, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:This position offers a competitive pay range of $35-$38/hour for a part-time schedule of approximately 25 hours per week.
