We also provide paid holidays, vacation and sick time and an annual profit-sharing program based on company performance.Role Description:The Project Manager works with the VP of Interior Construction to manage projects within Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The Project Manager is the central point of contact during construction and ensures projects are completed on time and on budget and clients are happy.Day-to Day Responsibilities:Plan: You are entrusted with the task of developing a comprehensive project execution and delivery plan. You use your knowledge of construction methods, best practices and scheduling to make a clear roadmap. Through your plan, you lay the groundwork to steer the project towards its intended goals, thus ensuring its overall success.Organize: You ensure that all project team members have the resources they need. These include tools, equipment, information, and people resources. This enables them to carry out their duties effectively.Administrate: You will continually track the project’s progress and make sure the designated goals are achieved within the set timeframe. You must also quickly address any mistakes that may cause delays. You ensure the smooth execution and completion of the construction project.Communicate: You can effectively convey project-related information to all relevant parties and can adjust your communication to fit your audience. You inspire and influence your team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environmentLead and Motivate: You have strong leadership skills. This includes motivating and guiding your team to deliver the project successfully and safely.What We’re Looking For:Relevant Industry Experience: The ideal candidate would have at least five years’ experience in a professional capacity with construction industry experience, with a proven track record of participating in successful projects within the commercial interiors space.Autonomy and Collaboration: Ability to work independently without supervision, while also collaborating effectively with internal teams and clients to achieve common goals.Problem-Solving Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities are essential, along with the capacity to negotiate and navigate complex scenarios.Education: A minimum of two years of formal education in business and/or office procedures or equivalent work experience, along with excellent communication skills.Additional RequirementsAbility to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules (including Gantt charts) and step-by-step action plans Ability to read and understand architectural and structural plans, as well as working knowledge of the local Building Code and International Building Code (IBC) Hands-on experience with project management software (e.g., Blue Beam, Plan Grid etc.), and Microsoft Office Suite PMP, CMT or Project management certification is a plus Adaptable and willing to embrace new technologies to help improve the design and construction processHow a Project Manager Will Be Measured: Project profitabilityCustomer satisfaction levelGrowth of service revenue within existing accounts
