WASTEWATER TECHNICIAN/OPERATOR 3RD SHIFT

DescriptionRequired to pass a Maintenance Aptitude Test with a 70% or above to be considered.ResponsibilitiesThis position ensures all aspects of the wastewater technician functions are performed in a safety and acceptable method.Performs preventative maintenance procedures on all equipment that is assigned by the Wastewater supervisors/lead hand.Assist other areas of the plant when major problems occurFunctional RequirementsCompletes all assigned tasks scheduled and unscheduled work as directed by supervisorAssist in the day-to-day operations of the wastewater department. Includes but is not limited to the assistance of all maintenance/wastewater areas of the plant, ensuring that all assigned areas of the maintenance department areas are being monitored and documented as required by safety, food safety, company policy, & proceduresKey Qualifications, Abilities,and SkillsMust be able to work weekends, or as needed.Must have strong verbal and written English communication skills.Must be willing to work in both hot and cold environments.Must have some related maintenance experience.Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100lbs on occasion.Depts IncludeWastewaterThe applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 90 days of employment;Paid time off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;Retirement pension planBase pay range of $27.90- $34.90EOE/VET/DISABLED
