Job DescriptionJob Summary:BAE Systems' Information Technology (IT), Application Solutions group is seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Power BI Systems Analyst / Developer to support our Functional Apps – Digital Content Management service. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business performance through data-driven insights and analytics.We are looking for a Junior Power BI Systems Analyst / Developer with 2-3 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide insights and recommendations to drive business performance. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to analyze data from multiple sources, identify process and system improvement opportunities, and develop reporting solutions to enable effective decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and update Power BI dashboards to support the Functional Apps – Digital Content Management service, incorporating data from various internal sources, including the DatawarehouseAnalyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and provide insights and recommendations to drive business performanceEnable effective decision-making by compiling data from multiple sources into a digestible and actionable formatIdentify process and system improvement opportunities by monitoring existent metrics, analyzing data, and partnering with internal teamsDesign and develop reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisionsAssist with gathering client requirements for pending Business Intelligence (BI) projectsAnalyze application problems, take corrective action to minimize current and future impact on the user community, and ensure solutions are consistent with operational standardsProvide support for the Midas Data Analytics program and resolve system and client issuesCoordinate with Business Sector BI testing teams to ensure deployment of high-quality products to customersSupport WebCenter Content and Tungsten TotalAgility platforms to optimize program efficiencies for future organization development and Power BI dashboardsRequired Education, Experience, & SkillsMust have a Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of experience in Power BI development, business intelligence, or quivalent experience in a related fieldProficient in developing and updating Power BI dashboards, data mining, analyzing, and correlating data for automated dashboard updatesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldPreferred Education, Experience, & SkillsExperience with other business intelligence tools such as Tableau, QlikView, or SAP BusinessObjectsExperience with Oracle WebCenter and Tungsten TotalAgilityKnowledge of data warehousing and data governance principlesKnowledge of Dataiku and FivetranExperience with AWS RedshiftExperience with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google CloudCertification in Power BI or a related fieldPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $64935 - $110390Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
