Responsibilities include helping organizes employee shifts, training and motivating team members. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all staff stays on task and complete all assignments to ServiceMaster standards. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of cleaning principles, team management abilities, and attention to detail.ResponsibilitiesTraining cleaners on ServiceMaster's standards, products, processes and proceduresOversees staff performance and ensures all assignments are completed in accordance to set task scheduleTrain cleaners on task schedules specific to individual accountsPerform inspections and give constructive performance feedback to staff membersAssign shifts and make necessary adjustment in case of call offBe able to cover a shift when necessaryRespond to customer complaints and request in a timely and caring mannerEnsure compliance with safety and OSHA regulationsUse proper PPE where requiredOpens and locks facilities, enable and disable security system as require.Must be able to communicate in English. Bilingual is a plus. Physical Demands and Qualifications:Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching80% field work at clients' facilities and 20% at our main officeMust be able to lift and/or carry up to 30lbs.Must have an eye for detailAbility to differentiate between cleaning products and uses0-1 years' experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper a plus but not requiredWill provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitudeContribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time DisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by associates assigned to this classification.
