Production Supervisor: Paint Pre-Finishing

Quality Wood Priming, a division of Coastal Forest Products, is currently recruiting for a detail-oriented and quality-control focused Production Supervisor for our remanufacturing facility to support our pre-finishing paint division. This role is responsible to lead daily production operations within a high-volume pre-finishing paint facility specializing in exterior siding trim and products across multiple substrates. Position Overview: Production Supervisor- Paint Pre-FinishingThis hands-on leadership role requires 80% - 90% production floor presence to ensure production is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining equipment reliability and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will have experience with industrial coating systems, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lead a production team in a fast-paced production. Employee Discount Program on Materials & Referral Reward Program Essential Job ResponsibilitiesLeads daily production activities to meet production targets, quality standards and delivery schedules. Ensures all necessary product and resources are available and ready for production. Coordinates and monitors production flow to detect potential problems within the workflow. Identifies & drives process improvements for production efficiency, coating consistency, and equipment reliability. Provides leadership, coaching, and training to production employees to exceed established goals. Performs routine quality inspections to verify coating specifications of finished coated products. Troubleshoots production machinery (pneumatic paint systems, Kremlin pumps) ensuring top production efficiency. Supports preventative maintenance activities (lubrication, belt tracking, chain inspection) for production machinery. Coordinates equipment repair around production schedule with Operations Manager. Shares safety and procedural recommendations with Operations Manager. Promotes and ensures all SOPS, safety policies, procedures and regulatory requirements are followed. Maintains production logs, quality inspection records, and operational reports. Position Requirements & SkillsCollege degree preferred 3-5 years of related experience in a supervisory role Manufacturing or industrial production environments experience Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting experience Experience with industrial coating systems or finishing processes Knowledge of pneumatic pump systems and industrial equipment Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Strong leadership and communication skills with keen attention to details Forklift operation experience Legally permitted to work in the United States Adaptable and willing to assume additional responsibilities Job Type/Location: Full Time, Monday-Thursday 6AM to 4:30PM, 100% On-Site Work Requirement in Bow, New Hampshire
