We are now seeking a proactive and strategic People Team Business Partner to join our growing team.The People Business Partner serves as a strategic partner to designated business units across the organisation, aligning people strategies with business objectives. This role provides comprehensive HR guidance to support effective leadership and team performance.Reporting into the Chief People Officer, this role will oversee HR support across the US (including New York, Los Angeles, Florida and Miami), while being based in the New York office. The position operates in a multi-site, highly collaborative environment, working across agencies and functions.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic PartneringPartner with senior leadership to develop and implement people strategies aligned with business goalsWork effectively across organisational silos and multiple agencies, driving alignment and consistencyProvide expertise in organisational development, workforce planning, and restructuring initiativesHR Systems & OperationsLead and support HR systems rollouts and optimisation, with a strong preference for experience with Sage PeopleDrive operational excellence across people processes, payroll, and HR administrationEnsure scalable and efficient systems to support a growing, international workforceEmployee RelationsAct as a trusted advisor to employees and managers across the full employee lifecycleManage and resolve complex employee relations cases, including investigations and risk mitigationCoach managers on performance, engagement, and best practiceTalent ManagementOversee the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, engagement, development, and offboardingPartner with Global Head of Talent Acquisition to attract and retain top talentDeliver a high-quality, consistent onboarding experiencePerformance & DevelopmentLead performance review cycles, including objective setting and evaluationSupport succession planning and long-term talent development strategiesCompensation, Benefits & PayrollSupport compensation and benefits design and administrationOversee and contribute to payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and complianceEnsure alignment with internal frameworks and external market practicesChange & TransformationLead and support organisational change and restructuring programmesGuide leadership through change with clear communication and practical implementation strategiesHR Policy, Compliance & DataDevelop and maintain HR policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with US employment legislation, including:CaliforniaFloridaNew York CityAnalyse HR data and metrics to inform decision-making and present insights to senior leadershipSkills, Knowledge and Expertise5+ years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a Business Partner role within an agency or fast-paced environmentStrong experience working across large, multi-site or multi-agency organisationsProven expertise in employee relations, organisational development, and HR operationsDemonstrated experience managing complex ER casesExperience with HR systems implementation, ideally Sage PeopleStrong working knowledge of US employment law (California, Florida, NYC preferred)Experience managing or supporting payroll processesSkillsStrong stakeholder management with the ability to influence senior leadershipCommercially minded with a strategic and hands-on approachExcellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skillsAbility to navigate complexity and work across multiple teams and locationsHigh level of discretion and professionalismStrong analytical and project management capabilitiesAdaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, evolving environmentWorking ConditionsHybrid working model: 5 days per week across multi-site officesBased in New York, with occasional US travel required
