This role helps maintain operational readiness, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures a safe and well-maintained working environment.Essential Functions And ResponsibilitiesEnsure facility operations and utilities are functioning properlySupport daily facility activities including maintenance, repairs, and general upkeepCoordinate maintenance schedules for equipment and facility systemsMaintain inventory of spare parts for facility equipment within budget guidelinesAssist with compliance to safety and environmental regulationsSupport facility safety programs and activitiesProvide vendor coordination and administrative support for facility-related servicesSupport upkeep and maintenance of calibration and production equipmentAct as liaison with property management for inspections and facility needsProvide backup support to production processes as neededSupport continuous improvement initiativesPerform other related duties as assignedKnowledge And Skills RequirementsKnowledge of workplace safety practices and facility operationsFamiliarity with general maintenance methods and equipment operation requirementsUnderstanding of OSHA and environmental regulationsStrong problem-solving and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEffective communication and interpersonal skillsBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office)Willingness to learn and develop job-related skillsEducation And Experience RequirementsHigh School diploma or GED required3+ years of experience in manufacturing, facilities, or related environment preferredTraitsAccountable, adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement.
