Job Title: Technical Program Manager – Wearable DevicesLocation: Sunnyvale (Bay area) Type: Full-Time🧭 About the RoleWe are looking for a technically astute Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead development programs for cutting-edge wearable devices. This role is central to translating customer needs in the U.S. into actionable engineering deliverables for our India-based development team.You’ll drive feature development, issue triage, and cross-functional execution across hardware and software domains. Your deep understanding of wearable technologies—especially in camera, audio, connectivity, power/performance, and embedded systems—will be key to delivering high-quality, user-centric products.🔧 Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the technical bridge between U.S.-based customers and India-based engineering teams.Own the end-to-end lifecycle of wearable device programs—from requirement gathering to delivery.Lead triage and resolution of field issues across:Camera modules (e.g., low-power imaging, sensor tuning)Audio systems (e.g., beamforming, ANC, voice pickup)Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity (e.g., pairing, throughput, coexistence)Power and performance optimization (e.g., battery life, thermal tuning)Kernel/BSP-level debugging and enhancements (e.g., sensor drivers, low-power states)Translate customer feedback into structured engineering tasks and timelines.Coordinate sprint planning, milestone tracking, and cross-time-zone communication.Ensure compliance with wearable-specific standards (e.g., BLE profiles, FCC/CE, thermal limits).Maintain clear documentation and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.🧠 Required QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.8-10+ years of experience in technical program management or embedded systems engineering.Proven expertise in wearable device technologies, especially in at least two of the following:Camera systemsAudio subsystemsBluetooth/Wi-Fi stacksPower management and performance tuningKernel/BSP developmentStrong understanding of embedded Linux, RTOS, or Android-based wearable platforms.Experience working with globally distributed teams, especially across U.S.–India time zones.Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.🌍 Preferred QualificationsPrior experience interfacing directly with U.S.-based OEMs or enterprise customers.Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.Ability to debug hardware/software integration issues using tools like ADB, logcat, kernel logs, etc.🚀 Why Join Us?Shape the future of wearable technology with global reach.Collaborate with top-tier engineers and product leaders across continents.Influence product direction through direct customer engagement.
