Civil Project Manager
Job DescriptionOur hard working, forward-thinking engineering firm is seeking a seasoned Civil Site Design Project Manager with a Professional Engineering (P.E.) license to lead and expand our Civil Site Design Department. This role is pivotal in advancing our mission to enhance local communities through innovative and impactful projects. We are looking for a motivated professional with a strong foundation in site design and land development to oversee diverse projects for public and private clients, including roadway construction and land development in residential, commercial, and mixed-use.Requirements :A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and an active Tennessee P.E. license.5+ years of hands-on experience in civil engineering, encompassing residential, commercial, mixed-use, institutional, and public works projects.Proficiency in AutoDesk Civil3D and Microsoft Office applications.Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.Strong leadership skills to guide projects from conceptualization through construction administration and final acceptance.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.Knowledge of regulatory compliance, permitting, environmental restrictions, and construction techniques.Experience with quality assurance/quality control processes to review project plans and address deviations.A proactive, self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and mentor others.Flexibility to meet project deadlines, a valid driver's license, and eligibility for insurance under our Fleet Program.Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.What We Offer :Competitive salary based on qualifications.Work-life balance with flexible scheduling.Comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, paid holidays, and company-paid medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.Professional development opportunities, including paid training, license fees, and organizational memberships.Retirement planning with a 401(k) and company match.Access to employee assistance program.Job Duties and Description:Lead and mentor a design team through all project phases, from initial design to final inspection.Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards.Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants to maintain project momentum and resolve challenges.Oversee quality control reviews, identifying and addressing deviations from project plans and specifications.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, permits, and environmental guidelines.Foster a collaborative, dynamic learning environment while driving continuous improvement and problem-solving.Present project deliverables to clients and stakeholders with clarity and professionalism.If you are passionate about making a meaningful impact through civil engineering and thrive in a team-oriented, growth-focused environment, we encourage you to send your resume and availability to morgan.ellis@gogpac.com .
