Job DescriptionCivil Project Manager - Excavation & UtilitiesOverview:We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join a growing contractor in the Nashville market. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in excavation and underground utilities who can successfully lead projects from preconstruction through closeout. The company has a strong pipeline of work and offers long-term stability, growth opportunities, and a collaborative team environment.Responsibilities:Manage civil construction projects with a focus on sitework, excavation, and underground utilities (water, sewer, storm)Oversee projects from preconstruction through completionDevelop and manage project budgets, schedules, and forecastsCoordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and field teamsReview plans, specifications, and ensure compliance with local codes and regulationsHandle RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentationMonitor job costs and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budgetSupport estimating and participate in bid reviews and project buyoutMaintain a strong focus on safety and quality controlQualifications:5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in civil/site developmentStrong background in excavation and underground utilities requiredExperience managing multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to read and interpret civil plans, specs, and contractsStrong communication and leadership skillsProficiency in software such as Procore, HCSS, Bluebeam, or similarCivil Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred (not required)Compensation & Benefits:Performance-based bonusesCompany vehicle or vehicle allowanceHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysOpportunity for advancement within a growing organizationApply today megan.cantone@gogpac.com
