Ideal for engineers from major OTT platforms (e.g., Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video) or high-volume streaming environments.ResponsibilitiesDevelop Roku apps using BrightScript and SceneGraphArchitect and implement scalable UI and navigation flowsOptimize playback performance and memory footprintImplement adaptive streaming (HLS/DASH) and troubleshoot DRM issuesIntegrate backend APIs and content feedsMonitor app performance and debug production issuesCollaborate with UX/UI, backend, and product teamsRequired Skills5+ years software engineering experienceDeep hands-on Roku development (BrightScript + SceneGraph)Strong understanding of OTT streaming and video playbackKnowledge of HLS, MPEG-DASH, and video codecsDRM concepts (Widevine, PlayReady, FairPlay)Experience with REST APIs, JSON, GitProven performance optimization and debugging skillsNice to HaveAd integrations (RAF)Subscription / AVOD / SVOD flowsCI/CD familiarityAnalytics integration
