Employment TypeFull timeShift12 Hour Night ShiftDescriptionNazareth Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Respiratory Therapist to join our team!Schedule: Full-time night shift, 12-hr shiftsUnder supervision of the department manager and/upon request of the physician order sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in the Diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease or illness. Also delivery of medications needed to assist in control of Respiratory ailments.Job ResposibilitiesDemonstrates competence in providing Oxygen TherapyDemonstrates competence in Arterial Blood Gas SamplingDemonstrates competence in Pulmonary toilet/oropharyngeal suctioning.Set up and maintain ventilator functionsAppropriate use of oximetry deviceEducate patients and families regarding procedures, medications, etc.Minimum RequirementsHS graduate or equivalentGraduate of an AMA approved respiratory therapy programCurrent PA license in Respiratory Therapy. Must be registered by the NBRCBCLS required.
