IT Support Technician

Description: Title: IT Support TechnicianDepartment: TechnologyReports to: IT Support ManagerStatus: Salaried - ExemptPOSITION SUMMARYThe IT Support Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and general maintenance of technical systems across all locations, working alongside the IT Support Manager on a small, hands-on team. This role focuses on resolving tickets and keeping day to day technology running; and includes deploying new hardware and performing preventative maintenance. This position will be part of an on-call rotation and will require travel between any and all Colectivo locations (including Madison, Milwaukee, and Chicago areas). This will be an in-office position, located out of our Milwaukee office.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESDeploy, maintain, and support technical systems such as, but not limited to: POS (Square), computers and peripherals, data networks, guest wifi, security cameras, smartphones, and printers.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting company devices, using remote support tools and travel as needed.Perform routine preventative maintenance such as cable management, hardware cleaning, and identifying equipment in need of replacement.Physically organize, neaten, and simplify network and computer hardware setups.Take and maintain inventory of supplies, spare hardware, and parts.Installation of mounted hardware such as cameras and WiFi APs, including drilling, cabling, and assembly.Handle recycling and disposal of old hardware.Develop and maintain a positive and lively tone that is inviting and encouraging to our customers and coworkers.Coordinate with service and other teams as needed depending on scope of project.Escalate issues that fall outside the scope of break and fix to the IT Support ManagerRequirements: EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONSFamiliarity with Windows and other operating systemsExperience with computer and networking systemsUnderstanding of troubleshooting concepts with professional experienceAbility to report in-office in Milwaukee, WIMust have a valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided), and be willing to travel throughout Milwaukee, Madison, and ChicagoMust be able to work a flexible schedule including occasional nights, weekends, holidays and on-callBasic capability of usage of handheld tools, small power tools, and laddersAbility to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbsMust possess strong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independentlyAptitude for technology and comfort learning systems and tools utilized by CCRCompensation details: 50000-55000 Yearly SalaryPIc7c4a8e1011c-30492-34809097
