Dev Sec Engineering - E2
Overview:
In this role you will plan, design, develop, and integrate systems across the full lifecycle to deliver secure, deployable software and hardware solutions for mission-critical applications. You will work within the Enterprise Business Services team to translate customer requirements into robust HW/SW features and ensure compliance with cyber security standards. You will collaborate across teams to support DevSecOps practices, pipelines, and documentation, while addressing performance and security in a DoD context. This is an opportunity to influence system-level decisions and enable secure, efficient delivery at scale. Responsibilities:
- Tech planning, design, development, integration, and verification/validation across the full system life cycle
- Translate customer requirements into HW/SW feature definitions and acceptance criteria
- Ensure adherence to standards, processes, and deployment pipelines for SW/HWDevelop and debug software containing mathematical solutions to business/mission problems
- Prepare operating instructions and documentation for development and usage
- Validate incorporation of features and use cases into designs and outputs
Key requirements:
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles, practices, and tools
- Experience with Linux (RHEL/Rocky) and Windows Server
- Experience with Agile, CI/CDExperience with Kubernetes infrastructure (Vanilla, OpenShift, TKG)
- Understanding of system scripting (bash, Python, PowerShell)
- Growth mindset and interest in emerging technologies
- Strong written and verbal communications
- Understanding of containerization tools like Docker
- Experience with version control tools such as GitAbility to Obtain and Maintain a DoD security clearance; Must be a US Citizen
