You'll conduct screenings, administer medications, evaluate ill students, and collaborate with staff and families to ensure every student's health needs are met so they can focus on learning.\n \nWhy Join Us:\n\nCEU/license reimbursement and tuition assistance\nFull benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k)\nPaid sick leave, holidays, and vacation\n\n \nWhat You'll Do:\n\nAssist with vision, hearing, TB, dental screenings, and head lice checks\nProvide specialized health care including tube feeding, suctioning, and medication administration (Diastat, insulin)\nEvaluate ill students and administer first aid\nMaintain accurate health records and a safe, orderly health office\nCommunicate student health conditions to parents and staff while maintaining confidentiality\nOversee inventory and order first aid supplies\nCollaborate with colleagues to support the overall well-being of students\n\n \nWhat We're Looking For:\nMust Have:\n\nCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license\nAssociate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)\nAt least one year of nursing experience in schools, hospitals, clinics, or health agencies\nDOJ/FBI background check and TB clearance\nStrong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills\nAbility to exercise sound judgment in emergency situations\n\n \nPreferred:\n\nPrevious experience in a school health setting\nKnowledge of federal, state, and district health policies\nExperience with basic anatomy and emergency medical procedures\n\n \nAbout Point Quest Group: Point Quest Group is a leading national provider of special education services, partnering with 350+ school districts to help students with unique needs thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
