In this position, you will perform a variety of project-related tasks and work closely with the Director of Operations to maintain and expand the station’s services and projects. The Project Operations Coordinator will focus on supporting KCUR and Classical KC’s mission, creation and the implementation of campaigns, initiatives, awareness, audience, and values across traditional and digital platforms.Job DescriptionThe project related work will encompass daily operational tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, preparation of reports, working with contracts including contract fulfillment and support for the underwriting operation, and work in collaboration with the university’s office of Finance and Administration. The work will support both KCUR and Classical KC’s operations and will report to the Director of Operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform data entry and payment receipt processing for underwriting sales revenue, gift revenue and other miscellaneous revenue streams.Generate and support various internal reports (e.g., sponsorship sales reports and event and project specific reports) and external reports (e.g., Learned and Taught Report for the FCC).Support the sales team with data entry, invoices, statements, and aging reports.Responsible for entry of non-commissioned sales orders, including associated copy and financial close out; track trade fulfillment for the station as needed.Reconcile activities between multiple systems and processes (e.g., Marketron and the General Ledger).Coordinate and provide required information to external vendors, such as Market Enginuity (sales team) and Marketron.Process invoices for payment and handle other payment processes. Assist staff with completion of Travel and Expense (T&E) reports and prepare T&E reports.Run financial reports as requested and process journal entries.Serve on an internal committee in support of the station’s efforts around employee engagement.Support general office management activities, including coordination with the front desk team, work orders, office layouts, security, new employee ID cards, keys, and supplies; provide front desk coverage as needed.Other duties as assigned.ShiftThis is a full-time, benefit eligible staff position.Minimum QualificationsA Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.Preferred Qualifications3-5 years in office and administrative supportProficient in Excel and comfortable learning different software systems.Key TraitsHighly organized, open, and flexible.Strong communication skills, verbal and written.Team oriented with desire to lead.Comfortable with a fast paced, changing environment.Life-long learner and good problem solver.High ethical standards.Anticipated Hiring RangeThe anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $22.10 to $25.00 per hour.Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
