The culture supports self-motivated professionals who take ownership of their territories and strive to meet and exceed sales goals.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Outside Sales position based in Memphis, TN, and NW Arkansas with responsibility for territories in NW Arkansas and West Tennessee. The role involves managing a defined sales territory, visiting customer sites, and conducting in-person meetings to present products, services, and solutions. Daily activities include prospecting new accounts, maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers, and identifying opportunities to grow revenue. The Outside Sales professional will prepare quotes, follow up on leads, and maintain accurate records of interactions and sales activity. The role also includes providing product training and demonstrations to customers, coordinating with internal teams to address service needs, and representing Byron Carson Company at industry events or trade shows as needed.QualificationsProven skills in Sales and Account Management, with experience managing a territory and building long-term customer relationships.Experience in Field Service and Customer Service, including on-site visits, issue resolution, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.Ability to deliver effective Training on products and solutions, both one-on-one and in small group settings.Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.Self-directed and organized, with the ability to plan routes, prioritize opportunities, and manage time effectively.Comfort working in an on-site, field-based role with regular travel within NW Arkansas and West Tennessee.Proficiency with basic productivity tools (e.g., CRM systems, email, spreadsheets) for tracking prospects and sales activity.Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required for regular travel to customer locations.Previous experience in B2B outside sales or a related industry is preferred but not required.
