Travel RN - Wound Care

DescriptionWe're looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) for an immediate travel opening in Oakland, CA.The right RN should have 1 year of experience in Wound care. Read below for more requirements.As an RN specializing in Wound care, you will assess, treat, and manage patients with acute and chronic wounds to promote healing and prevent complications. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized wound care plans.As an RN, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:Conduct thorough wound assessments including size, depth, and signs of infectionDevelop and implement wound care treatment plans based on best practicesPerform wound cleaning, dressing changes, debridement, and other therapeutic proceduresMonitor patient progress and adjust care plans as neededEducate patients and caregivers on wound prevention, care techniques, and nutritionCoordinate with physicians, physical therapists, and dietitians to optimize healingDocument wound care procedures, patient responses, and outcomes accuratelyEnsure compliance with infection control and safety protocolsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives related to wound managementProvide guidance and training to nursing staff and aides on wound care practicesThe ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as an RN in a Wound Care setting. Additionally, they should possess a current BLS certification and be eligible for State licensure. Additional certifications may be required.RNs in Wound care should have strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to support effective patient-centered care.Requirements*: ACLS, BLS, 2 Years
