This role is ideal for a leader who can balance design execution with team coordination, ensuring projects move efficiently from concept through production.You will oversee design workflows, partner cross-functionally, and ensure high-quality, production-ready designs in a fast-paced, fabrication-driven environment.What You'll Be DoingDesign Leadership & OversightLead and prioritize design workflow to meet deadlines and production demandsReview and approve CAD drawings to ensure accuracy, quality, and manufacturabilityCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with sales teams to translate customer requirements into technical designsWork closely with production to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with build processesProcess & Production SupportDrive continuous improvement in design processes and efficiencySupport manufacturing by resolving design challenges and adjusting drawings as neededGraphics & Fabrication CoordinationOversee creation and application of graphics using tools like Adobe Photoshop and IllustratorSupport fabrication processes, including CNC-based pattern cutting and material preparationWhat You Bring2+ years of AutoCAD experience (required), with strong design leadership capabilityExperience managing workflow, priorities, or small teams in a production environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate, production-ready designsAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsPreferred ExperienceExperience with 3D CAD toolsFamiliarity with Adobe Photoshop or IllustratorBackground in custom fabrication, construction, or manufacturing environmentsWork EnvironmentMonday through Friday, standard business hoursOccasional weekend work based on project demandOnsite, collaborative production environmentWhy CornerStone TTSCornerStone Technology Talent Services connects design and engineering leaders with organizations where their work directly impacts real-world products.
